Leviton’s medical grade power strips with load monitoring Inform™ technology provide a simple and efficient way to improve code compliance and electrical safety in health care facilities.

According to NFPA 99: Health Care Facilities Code Article 10.2.3.6, which both the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission inspect and survey to, “The sum of the ampacity of all appliances connected to the outlets does not exceed 75 percent of the ampacity of the flexible cord supplying the outlets.”

• These devices feature a real-time, line-of-sight LED indication when the NFPA 99 75% limit has been reached (this is an indication only - no power will be shut off to the outlets)
• Inform™ monitors the load of devices so you don’t have to, eliminating the need for manual calculations
• Load monitoring LED will remain OFF until the 75% limit is reached
